Impact Wrestling Results (9/8) – Jeff Hardy Speaks!

Mr. Anderson comes down to the ring and said he has been a man of few words as of late, but he kicks ass and goes home and sleeps like a baby. He did sign a deal with the devil, and agreed to join Immortal as a business decision, but it was a bad one so he doesn't blame the fans for booing him. He says it's because of Bully Ray that he is on the outs, and thanks him then says if they hated him before they are really going to hate him now. Anderson says he is going to start tonight by going after Kurt Angle, because Angle has been avoiding Sting so much that he overlooked him still having a rematch opportunity. He says he is cashing in his title shot tonight, and he knows it won't be Angle by himself, so he says he won't come alone either, and introduces his backup.

Sting comes out to the ring and says Immortal cost him the World Title, but they didn't take him out and he is like a fungus that won't go away. Sting says Hogan thought he had the power and the advantage last week when he was the enforcer in his title match, but he has something better in store. He says this week he has the power of the Network behind him, so he will be the special enforcer in Anderson's match, and he is going to gnaw away at Hogan and Immortal until he gets rid of them forever.

#1 Contender's Match for TNA Tag Team Championship
Pope & Devon vs The British Invasion

Pope repeatedly elbows Magnus in the head, then turns around to fight Williams, but Magnus uppercuts him then they use a quick tag to hit a double team maneuver for a two count. Pope gets clotheslined off the ropes then tries fighting out of the corner but Magnus pulls him down on the ropes and hits a flying clothesline for two. Pope fights back and drops them both, then finally makes the tag to Devon, who hits a flying shoulder block off the ropes and a side slam on Williams. Devon drops Magnus with a neckbreaker and hits a side slam on Williams, then double clotheslines them both and makes the cover as Pope clotheslines Magnus out of the ring.
