On The ECW DVD:
Paul had very low expectations for the DVD, as far as accuracy was concerned. However, he applauds those who produced the DVD as he believes it is an extremely fair and accurate look at what ECW went through over the years.
On ECW Stars That Have Not Gotten Fair Shots In WCW & WWE:
Paul believes that not all ECW personas were right for WCW or WWE, so it’s hard to say with whom the two big promotions failed. However, he specifically pointed out RVD as someone who hasn’t gotten a “fair shake” in WWE. He also mentioned that Raven could have been a big star, although he believes the character was probably best tailored for the ECW environment.
On An ECW Return:
Heyman would not like to see a full-time “corporate” reincarnation of ECW, since it would represent everything that ECW was against – it would “prostitute” the promotion. However, he feels fans would be interested in a one-time thing to see what a 2004-2005 ECW show would be like.
