TNA’s Bill Behrens flew up from Florida (site of last nights Impact! tapings) to Stamford, CT today to meet with WWE officials about his NWA Wildside promotion becoming an Atlanta, Georgia WWE developmental territory. WWE officials took a look at the building several months ago to make sure it was up to their standards.
Tim Horner and Jody Hamilton are expected to play a part in the deal if it takes place. There was talk that WWE would relocate someone (rumors of Bill DeMott) to help those two out as well.
In addition to the talked about Atlanta based developmental territory for WWE, they are also looking at locations in Florida and Connecticut.
For those wondering, Behrens runs NWA Wildslide and is also the agent of AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.
