PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
IPW matchmakers today gave in to the pressure being applied by Flaming Red to allow him a shot at being involved in the Best of British: High Flyers match at Best of British 1 on January 23rd 2005, from the Orpington Halls, Orpington, Kent.
However, should Flaming Red lose the big grudge match against Paul Travell, then the Righteous one will get a chance to deliver a beating that will advance him into the Best of British main event.
In addition to this major stipulation being added to Travell vs. Red, the final participant in the Best of British: High Flyers will be announced on the evening – much to the chagrin of the three confirmed competitors.
In an update on the announcement from the last press release, IPW:UK can today confirm that the PWG Champion Super Dragon is returning to England and Germany on the weekend of the 18th-20th of March.
Information on Super Dragon’s involvement on the show should become a lot clearer during the lead-in to the show, on March 20th 2005. What is currently known however, is that there will be an International Round Robin tournament taking place – though no competitors have been announced at this time.
