– WWE apparently spoke with former WCW booker Kevin Sullivan while they ran shows in Flordia about coming to work for the company during their recent swing through Florida. WWE is considering him for a spot with the creative team and not an agent.
– The top RAW match for WrestleMania 21, at this point, is expected to be Triple H vs. Batista.
– The new CD from Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy was a major flop in its first week of release, selling just 1,566 copies and not making Billboard’s Top 200 despite publicity on WWE TV.
– The ECW PPV is all but locked in now for June 12 in New York. We’re told they Heyman, who is on the outs with management right now, will likely return to hype the PPV on WWE programming.
– WWE will be running a combined RAW and SmackDown! taping this Monday night in San Jose, Calif. The RAW crew will go live at the normal time. After RAW ends, they will take down the RAW set and replace it with SmackDown!. This is the first time they’ve ever done this. Both crews leave for Honolulu on Tuesday night and then to Japan for the TV tapings which will take place on Friday and Saturday. We’ll have spoilers for next weeks RAW and SmackDown! up next weekend.
