Brock Lesnar Not To Pursue NFL Dream; & More

From Scout.com:

The Vikings have always been willing to let several of their players get experience in NFL Europe. Brad Johnson and Todd Bouman were both graduates of this “earn while you learn” program, and the team is hopeful that there may be a diamond in the rough somewhere this season.

The Vikings allocated seven players to NFL Europe — quarterback Jason Fife , WR Aaron Hosack , offensive linemen Brandon Newton and Shannon Snell , tight end T.J. Cottrell , punter Travis Dorsch and kicker Dan Orner .

The Vikings will receive roster credit during the preseason as incentive to send as many players as they wish to NFL Europe this year.

One name missing from that list was wrestler Brock Lesnar. When the Vikings released Lesnar last summer, the plan was to re-sign him and send him to NFL Europe. There has been no contact between the Vikings and Lesnar since the season ended.
