-John Laurenaitis has gotten a lot of heat backstage and most recently for stepping in on a personal matter between a married wrestler and a female worker in WWE. Apparently Laurenaitis felt it was his position to step in and by doing so created more tension. He threatened to break the pair up and move them to separate brands and also said the wrestler wouldn’t be allowed to leave his wife. The wrestler then went to Vince McMahon to complain about Laurenaitis interfering with personal matters.
-Originally Goldberg was scheduled to loose his match to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20, but when Lesnar decided that he was going to pursue a NFL career Goldberg stepped in and told WWE management that he might just stick around and if not at least do a match from time to time. After this occurred, apparently WWE management changed their minds about having Lesnar go over on Goldberg, in hopes that Goldberg may indeed be involved with the company in the future. It is believed that Goldberg may of had no intentions of sticking around and that one of his friends at the time, Kevin Nash or Steve Austin, may have told Goldberg what to say and in turn made him look good on his exit from WWE.
