Major TNA News: Jarrett/LA, Brown’s Change; Huge Update Here

Jeff Jarrett returns back to Nashville, TN today after meeting with TV reps in LA the last few days.

Dusty Rhodes’ autobiography will be hitting bookstores this week. The book should be plugged heavily on TNA TV and PPV’s.

The current plan right now is that former ECW World, WWF Light Heavyweight, and TNA X-Division champion Jerry Lynn will make his official in-ring return from his rotator cuff injury at the 6/10 Hardcore Homecoming event in Philadelphia, PA.

Airings on Impact! this past Friday were a mess due to local sports programming on the FOX Sports Network. It moved to 2 PM in both New York and Boston without notice. It may have been bumped into another timeslot for the following markets as well, but it didn’t air as scheduled in Chicago, St. Louis, Michigan, Denver, and Kansas City. In Boise, Idaho, they aired the first 30 minutes of the show before jumping to live coverage of a Utah Jazz game.

Phi-Delta Slam will be working the Coastal Championship Wrestling returns to the Coral Springs Gymnasium in Coral Springs, Florida this Saturday 3/26.

Monty Brown is now being announced from Detroit, Michigan as opposed to the Serengeti. He has been asked to tone down his leopard print outfits in favor of a darker look. This looks to be some small ways of aiding the heel turn from Destination X.

TNA announced on their website that they will hold their Third Anniversary PPV “Slammiversary” on 6/19 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. This date is actually past the original deal that had inked with Universal studios. This new date being announce leads many to believe that TNA has a new deal already in the works and that the rumored returns to Nashville were just that.

A Best of Jeff Jarrett DVD is being prepared for future release.
