» Much like the Best of British: High Flyers match from BOB1 back in January, there shall once again by a mystery opponent in the main event. Following on the successful decision to include the winner of the Flaming Red/Paul Travell contest from BOB1, and also include a wildcard entrant in the form of Dragon Pheonix, one man will be entered into the main event during the evening. This means that four of the five main event superstars are now announced – with just one space remaining!
» Defeated and battered, Spud managed to walk away from Return of the Dragon a superstar. Honoured by the great Samoa Joe for his heart and fortitude, the young Birmingham high-flyer walked out with his concussed head held high. There was one blemish on his evening, however – his former friend Jack Storm once again poking his nose into Spud’s business.
Fast forward to Best of British 2. Spud immediately submitted a request to face off against his fellow Brummie, ‘Sadistic’ Jack Storm. IPW:UK have however opted to go with the Tony ‘Superstar’ vs. Jack Storm rematch. Angered by this snub, Spud has re-submitted his match request in an attempt to get the match utterly changed, or at least altered so that he may have some participation. More on this as it breaks.
» Coming off the back of major ramifications on the international scene since his debut in Holland, Chris Wyld will be making his IPW:UK debut on May 22nd 2005. Working the south as one of a tag team with fellow complainer JC Thunder, Wyld impressed many with his stunning physique and solid offence. Wyld will be facing off against fellow IPW:UK debutant Eamon O’Neill, both of whom will be vying for spots on future IPW:UK shows.
