— The new TNA booking committee consists of Bill Banks, Scott D’Amore, Jeremy Borash, Dutch Mantell, and Mike Tenay. Tenay, who is the lead announcer for TNA, is a long-time student of Pro Wrestling, and is said to be excited about trying to correct some of TNA’s past booking errors in his new role. Bill Banks has some booking backround, having worked under Vince Russo in both the WWF and WCW. Neither of the Jarretts are on the booking committee, but they are close to Dutch Mantel, Bill Banks, and Jeremy Borash.
— One TNA wrestler joked about the new booking committee: “That is the whitest, nerdiest, most non-hip, non-getting-laid six guys I can think of. That’s a problem, no matter how much they know about wrestling”
