Thanks to Adam Lebow for sending in the following Recap:
Goldberg said if was terrific to be back with the pads on and he took on more than he should have in pain in this movie. It was one of his favorite movie of all time (the original) so it was a thrill for him. Goldberg liked Rock and Sandler and said they were there because they are funny but he was there because he can beat people up. At this point they keep on saying Chris Tucker instead of Chris Rock (because they were talking about the Michael Jackson trial before hand). They show the scene where Goldberg is in the shower and naked, noly covered. Kyra said she liked it a lot and was really flirty. She asked if the guys said anything after the scene, and he said it was “oh my god”, from Sandler and Rock. Goldberg said he has had to reinvent himself a numerous times in his life, with his physiology degree, football, wrestling and his new tv show that
is starting up. Kyra says he is a bad guy and Golderg says he is a nice, soft, good guy. They show a kid named Billy who is on the American Morning set who Goldberg has been spending the day with. Goldberg says he likes to help the less fortunate and seeks out the ‘make a wish’ kids. He is happy he brought the kid with to do the CNN interviews today. They then show Goldbergs new wife Rhonda.
Kyra asks if he ever puts her in a headlock, and Goldberg says she is the only one who he ever does, otherwise he beats up everyone. (Goldbergs new wife is really hot!!!). They show pictures of Goldberg on US Navy Boats meeting the troops, including a photo of one of the soldiers beating Goldberg in an arm wrestling contest. Goldberg finishes the segment saying “Hey Bert, keep your temper under control” (in reference to Renalds slapping a CBS announcer at the premiere of the remake of Longest Yard the night before).
Overall, Goldberg came off extremely nice and him and Kyra where very friendly. It seems like he is a more open and happier person, and his work with the US Navy and Make A Wish was really nice.
