— After a layoff since August 2004, the Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark, most popularly known in the Ring of Honor promotion) made their wrestling return for Hellaware Championship Wrestling over the weekend, facing off against each other.

— When asked about their return to wrestling, RoH booker Gabe Sapolsky said;

“It caught me by surprise that Jay and Mark Briscoe returned to action. Delaware. I’m hoping they were just trying to get into ring shape to return to ROH. I have been in contact with the family and there is an offer on the table for them to return to ROH. I haven’t heard from them one way or the other. From what I hear they are busy having fun as 21 year olds and catching up on everything they missed the last few years cause they were wrestling. The last I heard Mark’s shoulder was still healing up and wasn’t 100% yet, but I don’t know what the current status is. As soon as they are ready to return, they’ll be back in ROH.”

— Mark Briscoe suffered a major motorcycle injury to his shoulder, and RoH came up with a storyline ‘concussion’ to his brother Jay – who didn’t wish to work without his brother.
