In a release regarding CelebReality, VH1 touted “Hogan Knows Best” as its most successful premiere ever. The show scored a 1.9 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic, topping The Surreal Life (1.5) and Celebrity Fit Club (1.4).
The show wasn’t successful merely by premiere standards, however. The new addition to CelebReality was the highest rated regular episode VH1 airing ever. It ranks second in terms of all-time VH1 telecasts.
“The numbers confirm what we’ve seen for a while: our audience is really connecting with our brand strategy of celebrating the music and pop culture figures we all love so much”, commented Ben Zurier, Senior Vice President, Programming Strategy, VH1. “And these series all have such great personalities and stories, we’re looking forward to where they’ll take us next.”
According to Nielsen Media Research, the network registered over 10 million viewers for the entire CelebReality block. Since that wasn’t broken down by show, however, the exact viewership of “Hogan Knows Best” is not yet known.
