More On WWE’s Terrorist Angle, Joey Styles/Paul Heyman/ECW

  • In an update to a previously reported story, both Joey Styles and Paul Heyman are expected to write books about ECW; Styles has already agreed.
  • Although the WWE terrorist angle played out as a major controversy on the Internet, sources in WWE note that the level of critical fan email – while high – did not rival past “controversies” on WWE TV.

    There is also some debate as to what Vince McMahon’s intentions were in going ahead with the storyline. While some have noted that Vince feeds off negative media reaction and is thrilled with how the angle played out, others feel that Vince would never have intended to wreck the positive publicity attached to the move to USA.
