As seen on RAW last night, Chris Jericho was ‘fired’ from RAW after losing a match to John Cena. As we’ve been noting the last few weeks, Chris is headed on tour with his band Fozzy and needed time off from WWE. No word on when he’ll be back.
As we’ve noted several times before, there was a lot of backstage tension between HBK and Hogan going into SummerSlam. The promo that Shawn did on RAW basically told the story that he was not happy with what he had to do at SummerSlam and was his way of ‘one-upping’ Hogan to regain his edge. We’ll have much more on this later this week.
Speaking of Hulk Hogan, he is not scheduled to return to TV or for a rematch with Shawn Michaels. We’ve seen the last of him for awhile.
