When a WWE writer pitched an idea for a character based on comedian Dave Chappelle, Vince McMahon, having never heard of Chappelle before, reacted with bewilderment. Upon watching some of Chappelle’s material, however, McMahon became an instant fan.
WWE is in talks with a major celebrity for an appearance at WrestleMania 22. Sources say this particular celebrity would offer great crossover appeal.
Matt Hardy is of the impression that he will be winning this Sunday’s cage match against Edge. Even though he has not been pushed as a main-eventer, he is still optimistic about his long-term future in WWE.
