All mention of the USA Network were edited out of the UK’s RAW replay on Sky Sports this week, other than one mention by Vince McMahon in the ring at the beginning of the show.
The latest edition of Billboard Magazine has an article about how record companies are looking to WWE to help them promote their products by reaching WWE’s audience.
WWE is heavily pushing the October 30 (Sunday night) Smackdown taping at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The night after the taping, they do RAW live in Anaheim. Reasons behind the Sunday Smakdown taping is that Taboo Tuesday will air live on 11/1, so they couldn’t tape TV that night.
Regarding the WWE Travel Packages for WrestleMania 22, RAW will take place in Chicago at The Allstate Arena on Monday April 3, 2006. Smackdown will take place in Indianapolis at the Conseco Fieldhouse on Tuesday April 4, 2006. Of course, RAW takes place on 4/2 at The Allstate Arena.
