The following was posted on WWE.com pertaining to RAW Superstars invading No Mercy:
When Theodore Long approached Eric Bischoff several weeks ago about SmackDown getting some exposure on RAW’s WWE Homecoming show, Bischoff made it clear that he wanted no part of it. Mr. McMahon, however, thought it was a great idea and granted Long one match on show. The decision to allow SmackDown Superstars on RAW clearly did not sit well with Bischoff, but he had no choice but to let it happen.
As Monday’s show inched closer, Bischoff learned that Long may have been taking advantage of his one match by putting a whopping six Superstars into the contest. Even more, Long had three other SmackDown names at the show that weren’t even involved in the match McMahon allowed (Ken Kennedy, Randy Orton and Cowboy Bob Orton).
An upset Bischoff was spotted after RAW shouting at the top of his lungs at anybody who would listen. “How dare he take these [expletive] liberties with his match? He can’t just bring his whole freaking roster to RAW,” said an angry Bischoff.
The addition of three more names to Monday’s RAW clearly got under Bischoff’s skin, leaving many to wonder if the RAW General Manager has plans to retaliate. If so, when does Bischoff plan to launch his counterattack on Long? Will Bischoff retaliate to Long crashing RAW’s biggest show of the year by doing the same to SmackDown at their next big pay-per-view, No Mercy?
