» When Jonny Storm came to the aid of Jody Fleisch at the First Anniversary show, stopping a beating from the 3 members of the Untouchables (Martin Stone, Jack Storm & Dave Moralez), fans may’ve been forgiven for thinking that once again Storm had made the save for his long-time best friend. But that was not the case.
After helping Fleisch to his feet, Storm floored his former-partner just as quickly with his stunning Wonderwhirl finisher. This left Fleisch open for a 4-on-1 stomping, leaving ‘the Phoenix’ beaten, stripped of his pride and with his trust shattered.
Now, with revenge on his mind – settling the score and focusing on becoming the king-pin in IPW:UK – Fleisch and Storm have been handed an ‘open book’ Tag Team Brawl set for November 13th. In the main event of the evening it will be Jonny Storm and a partner of his choosing versus Jody Fleisch and a partner of HIS choosing.
Fleisch has been given until November 6th to inform IPW who his partner will be. Storm, given the same deadline, has already informed IPW that his partner will be his new stable-mate and current IPW:UK Champion, Martin Stone. This gives Stone the (unlikely) option to defend his Title under tag-rules, but more than likely saves Stone’s bacon for one more show from a face-off against any of the other top ranked contenders for the gold.
Will Fleisch go international with his connections from the US Indy promotions, possibly Japan, perhaps Europe, or will he plump for a friend here in the United Kingdom? Will Fleisch even have somebody tagging with him; does he feel he can trust ANYBODY if he can’t trust his best friend?
» We’ve had it confirmed, unless something changes, that there will be an afternoon card as expected on November 13th. Starting early in the afternoon (rumor suggests 2.30pm), entry is just TWO POUNDS. £2. 200p.
