— An advertisement for RAW running on the USA Network falsely implies that Batista’s win over Coach at Taboo Tuesday will be enough to bring Jim Ross back into the broadcasting booth. “Did the Animal accomplish his goal of bringing Jim Ross back to RAW?” the commercial asked.
Once Steve Austin was removed from the card, however, WWE removed the Jim Ross stipulation from the bout; Joey Styles has been tapped to call RAW for the next two weeks. Sources within WWE are of the impression that the USA Network has no idea what is going on with the Ross situation, and this commercial certainly supports that notion.
