MMAWeekly is reporting that Tito Ortiz did indeed sign a three-fight deal with UFC, confirming the rumors that had been running rampant all day.
Ken Shamrock also signed a deal, making Ortiz and Shamrock the coaches for next season’s “The Ultimate Fighter.” The two will also fight a PPV rematch at the conclusion that Ultimate Fighter competition.
In between that, Ortiz will have a fight against Forrest Griffen, the original Ultimate Fighter. That fight is tentatively scheduled for this spring.
Assuming he defeats those two, he is promised a shot at the UFC Light Heavyweight Title.
