WWE currently has a job opening for a new writer and also for an ‘on air talent’.
Here is what they list as their requirements for the writer:
– BA/BS in Film, TV, Drama, Media Studies, Communications or equivalent
– Minimum of two years writing and/or TV production experience; professional TV staff experience in drama and comedy, a plus
– Willing to relocate to Stamford, CT
– Knowledge of WWE talent and story lines is required
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
– Flexible travel schedule (extensive travel required)
Here are their requirements for the ‘on air talent’:
– 1 to 3 years play-by-play sports announcing a must
– Strong announcing, writing and television production skills
– Excellent verbal communication skills
– College degree in Journalism, Communications and/or related field
– Strong team player
– Extensive travel required
