Michael Cole came out and Introduced Teddy Long.
Teddy thanked us for making SmackDown number one, as they beat team RAW at Survivor Series.
Long introduced MNM. MNM talked smack about the Mexicools, referring to them as Super Lazy and Hypnosis. Melina was very shy on the mic, stumbling on her words a lot.
Teddy Long then mentioned that JBL is contracted to have a match at Armageddon but they cannot announce who just yet. Introduced JBL. JBL was actually pretty funny. Cut a promo about drinking with Ted Kennedy and how it’s funny that the Big A** Show hops to SmackDown when they go to an arena called the “Dunkin Donuts Center.” Michael Cole is in tears at this point, he is laughing so hard.
After the promo JBL sits down and Michael Cole continues with his MC duties. JBL says that Cole is boring. Cole responds that he has to know about boredom, because he calls JBL’s matches every week. JBL smiles and says, “That’s the funniest thing you’ve said in 2 months.”
Cole introduces Sharmell, who says they don’t need to cheat to beat Benoit, basically. She introduces Booker T, who had some notes with him. He thanks the fans and asks for their support in getting a match against Batista. Says he will beat Benoit, then starts badgering Long about getting a title shot at Batista.
Long changes the subject and talks about Hell in a Cell. Cole introduces Randy Orton. He comes out, gets on the mic and says “I am not afraid of the Undertaker.” Then, UT’s “gong” music hits, the lights go dim, and Orton leaves. Seriously.
Cole then introduces Batista. He doesn’t say too much. Talked about how Eddie must be smiling from heaven watching he & Rey team up.
Open mic questions start. A fan says he is a huge fan of JBL, but has trouble saying it. JBL replies that he will make this man “the head of his cabinet.liquor cabinet!” He says he believes the man has already taken part in that liquor cabinet today, to which there is nothing wrong with drinking before noon.
Conference ends and they escort the Superstars out of the room. No autographs/ pictures or anything.
