Booker T injured his right knee in a match with Matt Hardy at last night’s SmackDown! house show, reports WrestlingObserver.com.
Immediately following the match, which came to a sudden end when Booker showed signs of pain, a number of referees hit the ring to help the wrestler make it to the back. After several minutes, he was able to get up for the trip up the ramp.
Details on the injury’s severity are not yet available.
Booker T was scheduled to wrestle Chris Benoit at the Tuesday SmackDown! taping.
