CM Punk worked last night’s Ring Of Honor show in Long Island after receiving permission to appear from WWE management, reports PWInsider.com.
When Punk learned of Low-Ki pulling out of his dates, he approached WWE management about working an ROH show to help the company make up for the loss. WWE agreed on the condition that he was not to be promoted by name prior to the show.
WWE Diva Maria, who has been romantically-linked to Punk, also attended the show and signed autographs for all fans interested.
Rumors that Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer were present at the show, however, are believed to be untrue.
