**SPOILER** New WWE Diva To Debut Tonight

Angel Williams, 25, from Deep South Wrestling is scheduled to make her WWE debut at tonight’s SmackDown tapings (Smackdown’s being taped tonight as to not conflict with Halloween). It is believed that she’ll be working as a heel manager for a SmackDown star. It is not known as to who that star is.

Williams was originally set to be called up back in January, but she got injured just mere days before her scheduled debut. She had to be on crutches for about a month due to a torn lateral ligament in her knee. On February 28, 2006, she underwent knee surgery to repair her torn ACL. Williams would recover from the knee injury by late May, though she seems to be still feeling the effects of the injury because she wears a thick brace whenever she wrestles – just like Victoria. WWE was planning on replacing Jillian Hall with Williams as JBL’s manager, but Vince McMahon was so impressed with Hall’s acting abilities after The Boogeyman ate the “blemish” off of her face (which was supposed to be her blowoff angle), that he kept her in that role for a few more months. Due to this, Williams was left without a spot in WWE when she finally healed.

Williams signed a developmental contract with WWE in December 2004 and has been appearing at DSW shows ever since the promotion’s debut in September 2005. She made her wrestling debut in 2000 by working for several independent promotions around Canada.
