WSX News: Show Cancelled, Wrestler Contracts, More

MTV has removed the WSX Finale from the scheduled 10:30 time slot next week. It has been replaced by an airing of the Real World. MTV sources claimed that the episode was never officially set to air, but up until yesterday the TV Guide and the MTV website’s schedule had the show set in the schedule. There is no word if the show will air now, which was to have an Electrified Steel Cage and Piranha Death Match.

In WSX contract news, WSX wrestler contracts are worded to expire “90-days” after the initial airing of the Season One series finale. If the finale never airs, it will be interesting to see where that leaves the performers’ options legally to sign elsewhere should they get offers from TNA or WWE.
