The early release of Rob Van Dam hasn’t been 100% confirmed as WWE hasn’t officially announced anything regarding it yet. Despite the rumored early release, RVD has a no-compete clause and will not be able to show up in TNA immediately. As noted earlier here on the site, RVD is is expected to sign with TNA after a much needed break from the pro wrestling industry. One of the major issues that prevented him from re-signing with WWE is that they would not give him the vacation time he was asking for. RVD is looking to work a reduced schedule, which TNA offers. Expect RVD and Sabu to jump ship to TNA in the coming months.
