The following took place on Monday in Orlando, FL:
TNA iMPACT! Tapings for May 31:
– Jim Cornette came out to discuss the King of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary on June 17 to determine a new TNA World Champion. Cornette mentioned that Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe have already qualified. He said this week’s scheduled qualified match was supposed to be Jeff Jarrett vs. AJ Styles, but Jarrett was unable to appear due to family reasons. Cornette said he understood Jarrett’s decision. Christian Cage, AJ Styles and Tomko all came out. Cage demanded Cornette raise AJ’s hand as the winner and pointed out how Cornette has been screwing him for months in TNA. Cornette said since he pointed out that, he wouldn’t announce AJ as the winner by forfeit and announced Styles vs. Tomko later in the night in a KOTM Qualifying Match.
– Christopher Daniels vs. Rhino never took place as Sting attacked Daniels while he was coming down the ramp. Rhino then got on the mic and said he was going to kick Daniels’ ass, but Sting beat him to it. He then issued a challenge to anyone in the back. LAX came out. Konnan got on the mic and talked about TNA screwing LAX and how they would get the TNA Tag Titles back soon. He also called Hector Guerrero a sell out. Guerrero joined Rhino in his corner which led to…
– Rhino w/ Hector Guerrero defeated Homicide w/ LAX. After the match, LAX attacked Rhino. Guerrero hit the ring when LAX was about to take out Rhino with a chair. LAX then went after Guerrero until Chris Harris hit the ring to make the save.
– TNA X Division Champion Chris Sabin defeated Kazarian in a Non-Title Match. Said to be a solid match.

TNA iMPACT! Tapings for June 7:
– Robert Roode defeated Jerry Lynn. After the match, Roode and Ms. Brooks tried to take out Lynn when Eric Young hit the ring with a chair. Roode put Brooks in the path of Young and bailed from the ring. Young prevents Brooks from leaving the ring. Lynn and Young tease giving Ms. Brooks a Cradle Piledriver until Jim Cornette breaks it up. He said there will be no violence against women in TNA. Cornette setup a match between Brooks and Gail Kim since Brooks wanted to get involved so much.
– Gail Kim defeated Ms. Brooks. After the match, Robert Roode came out. Kim tried going after Roode, but Brooks took her out from behind.
– Chris Harris vs. James Storm ended in a No Contest in a Qualifying Match for the King of the Mountain. The finish saw Harris give Storm a Spear through the bottom of the stage. The referee then counted both men out, but it was stated that if one man could recover and get to the ring then they would win. Neither man could recover, so neither move onto the KOTM Match at Slammiversary. Both Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe were out again scouting during the match. After the match, Angle and Joe get in each other’s faces in the ring as TNA Security break it up. Styles comes out and tries to hit Angle with a pipe, but Angle ducks and puts him in the Ankle Lock.

– Christian Cage defeated Abyss via DQ in a Qualifying Match for the King of the Mountain Match. Abyss used a chair on Cage to cause the DQ to give Cage the win. After the match, Abyss brings out what looks to be his bag of thumbtacks. It turns out to be broken glass inside instead. TNA officials Terry Taylor and Simon Diamond try to stop Abyss, but get taken out. Cage, Styles and Tomko all try to take out Abyss. Cage gets a barbed wire bat. Abyss fights off the attack and ends the show cleaning house on all three men in the ring.
