Devin Cutting sent this in: The Charlotte Observer is reporting that the Charlotte Coliseum was imploded yesterday at 10:30 AM. Many wrestling events were held at the building, including WWE Judgment Day in 2003 and the episode of Monday Night Raw where Ric Flair returned to WWE as the company’s co-owner.
Brian Shank sent this in: I know its been a while since the Wrestlemania 23 DVD came out, but I just bought the DVD and I noticed that the guy that ran in the ring at the beginning of the John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels match had been edited out. Just thought I would share that interesting note.
Sandy Barr, a fixture on the Oregon wrestling scene who worked as a wrestler, referee and promoter, passed away Saturday night as a result of a heart attack. There are no other details available at this time.
