No huge news coming from last night’s One Night Stand PPV in Jacksonville, FL. There are no major injuries to report on except for The Hardys and The World’s Greatest Tag Team probably being very banged up after the very impressive Ladder Match last night.
Unless plans change, last night was Rob Van Dam’s final night with WWE with his contract expiring later this month. WWE.com currently has an article up saying he is out “indefinitely” playing up the concussion angle. As expected, the company changed the finish of the Orton vs. RVD match last night to try and one up the smart mark crowd that had an idea of what was going on long ago.
Nothing new to add or update on tonight’s live Monday Night Raw taping in Tampa, FL. WWE.com’s current preview wonders who will be John Cena’s next challenger for the WWE Title, so this could indicate they are done with the Great Khali program. The tension following last night’s Ladder Match between The Hardys and The World’s Greatest Tag Team is also plugged.
WWE may end up having title rematches at the Vengeance PPV in around three weeks, so they could push another Cena vs. Khali match unless plans change along with Edge vs. Batista and possibly Lashley vs. McMahon. That PPV is carrying a “night of champions” theme where all the matches are championship bouts.
