WWE.com had a poll up Friday asking fans which brand Rob Van Dam should go. Of course this is a completely bogus question considering Van Dam is done with WWE as his contract will expire at the end of this month. Apparently the official WWE website does this to try and mess with people.
The latest edition of MAD Magazine features an article about WWE called “MAD’s Touchy-Feely Wrestlemania Outtakes.” In it, there are photos from WrestleMania (several from when Vince got his head shaved) with funny dialogue thought bubbles added in.
WWE has motioned for the lawsuit against them involving a fan’s alleged assault and battery from Sandman at an event to be thrown out. They said that the lawsuit was filed in Tennessee (where the incident allegedly took place), but the person filing the lawsuit is a resident of Florida. They also added that they are a Connecticut based company and Sandman is a resident of Pennsylvania.
Kristal will be on the cover of September’s African Americans on Wheels, which hits newsstands August 14. Regarding the magazine cover, Kristal said, “I’m looking forward to this. Itâ<80><99>s my first cover shoot, ever. Iâ<80><99>ve never been on the cover of a magazine, can you believe it? Iâ<80><99>m excited.”
Former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus will be making several public appearances in Toronto this weekend. She will be at the Paradise Toronto Comicon tomorrow from 11AM-1PM. Later that day, she will be on “eTalk” on the Red Carpet at Canada’s Walk of Fame at the Hummingbird Centre. She will then be appearing at ‘The Second City That Never Sleepsâ<80><99>, which is a fundraiser. It is an “improv-a-thon.” To round out the weekend, Trish will be participating in a 10K race.
