For those who witnessed last night’s three-hour “WWE Draft” edition of Monday Night Raw, the show came to a close with what appeared to be the company’s way of killing off the Mr. McMahon character which saw McMahon enter a limo outside of the arena only to see it blow up once he got inside. WWE.com was really playing up the storyline late Monday night as soon as Raw went off the air. One headline even went so far as to say that McMahon was presumed dead. A recent update saw the company continue playing up what was done on TV by quoting firefighters who “were on the scene” after the explosion. They have even started labeling it as a car bombing. Normally we wouldn’t address a WWE storyline as “news”, but considering the amount of e-mails and phone calls I have received tonight asking what is going on, we felt the need to at least mention something. So, as of now, the assumption is that this was WWE’s way of killing off the Mr. McMahon character on TV unless other plans are in the works that we are not aware of quite yet
Here is the updated card for Vengeance after tonight’s RAW:
-Edge vs Batista (World Heavyweight Championship- Do or Die Match)
-John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Mick Foley vs King Booker vs Bobby Lashley (Night of Champions – WWE Title Match)
