Ric Flair was drafted over to SmackDown just in time to return to his hometown of Charlotte for next weekâs taping. Flair will take on Edge in his first SmackDown appearance.
WWEâs supplemental draft was moved to this Sunday because it wouldnât have made sense if SmackDown wrestlers would have switched brands on Wednesday and then aired on the show on Friday.
WWE has release a signed WrestleMania 23 âwinnersâ plaque. It includes signatures of John Cena, Ken Kennedy, Great Khali, Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam, Melina, and the Sandman. Oddly enough The Undertakerâs (who won the World Championship) signature is not on it. The plaque retails for $149.99.
Towards the end of KTTV FOX 11’s morning show Good Day L.A, the Mr.Mcmahon “Death” angle was brought up and one of the hostâs Jillian Reynolds shrugged it off and called it silly and went to something else. The story really didn’t get any publicity on this show.
