Big Nowinski Update, Cena, Judgment Day, & More

The following WWE videos are on Billboard’s Top 10 Recreational Sports chart for the week ending 6/23. ‘WrestleMania 23’ retains the first spot, ‘Backlash 2007’ debuts in second and ‘Ric Flair & The Four Horsemen’ moves to third. Those are the only three WWE DVDs on the chart with the rest of the chart dominated by MMA, with four DVDs from UFC and two from Pride FC. (thanks to Colin Vassallo)

Christopher Nowinski was on ESPN’s “First Take” this morning talking about concussions. He was presented as “former WWE Wrestler” Chris Nowinski. He came off as very smart and knowledgable about concussions. I guess that Harvard degree paid off.

WWE Champion John Cena was first of four competing in the Fast Cars and Superstars show. Cena finished ahead of Bill Cowher, Jewel and Gabrielle Reece who got eliminated. John Cena has successfully advanced to the final round which will air this Sunday from 7-8 PM Eastern on ABC.

The WWE Judgement Day 2007 DVD is now available via pre-orders. Extras included are; Todd Grisham interviewing Randy Orton in the locker room following his match with Shawn Michaels, a video package on the CM Punk vs. New Breed feud as well as MVPâs entourage celebrating his WWE Unitied States title win by interrupting Teddy Long and Kristal in the office.
