Notes On The RAW & SD! Ratings, & More News

As announced on Monday night, WWE will be holding another three-hour edition of Monday Night Raw next week (June 25) where they will continue the “investigation” on Vince McMahon. Stars from Raw, Smackdown and ECW will all be present. It remains to be seen if any interpromotional matches will be taking place or not.

The 6/15 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew a final 2.4 broadcast rating. This was considered a huge disappointment within the company. According to reports, if the rating for this week shows no signs of improvement, the Vince McMahon “death angle” will be rushed into finishing.

There are conflicting reports out regarding the rating for Monday night’s 6/18 edition of Monday Night Raw. The show either did a 4.1 or 4.2 cable rating. We hope to get more details on the show. Either way, they were able to maintain the audience from last week so that is a good sign (or that is bad news for wrestling fans who aren’t enjoying the Vince McMahon angle). We hope to have more details on the rating very soon.
