Dustin Rhodes made his TNA return at last night’s pay-per-view. He simply walked on to the stage and then went to the ring to clock Chris Harris in the back with handcuffs in his match with Christian Cage. Cage then rolled up Harris for the three count.
Scott Steiner made his first TNA appearance since his throat injury at last night’s pay-per-view when he snuck into the ring to smash Brother Ray with a pipe shot to the face during the match between Angle/Joe and Team 3D. Steiner was initially expected to be out for several months due to the severity of his injury. He was hospitalized for several weeks last month in Puerto Rico and had to come back to the States on a boat because doctors didn’t want him flying.
Indy women’s wrestler Nikki Roxx made her TNA debut at the Victory Road pay-per-view last night, using the stage name of Roxxi Laveaux. She assisted the Voodoo Kin Mafia in their match against Damaja & Basham. She seems to be doing some sort of bizarre voodoo gimmick, so it looks like she’ll be their manager. Furthermore, DeclarationOfIndependents.com is reporting that the spot was originally offered to a former WWE women’s wrestler, but due to personal issues, the former WWE Diva turned the spot down, giving Roxx the opportunity to debut in TNA. No word yet on who the former WWE Diva was.
