Tons Of Exclusive Backstage TNA News: Divas & Returns

As noted earlier today, TNA President Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett were back again in Los Angeles last week (believed to be either Wednesday or Thursday) for yet another round of meetings with FOX Network executives. Based on what is known at this point, TNA and FOX have had discussions about a possible multi-tier deal where TNA-branded shows would air on multiple networks. Another report has stated that the FOX dicussions may have also included discussions of a possible live weekly broadcast as well, something TNA has yet to do since gaining TV deals with Fox Sports Net and Spike TV. It should also be noted that both Carter and Jarrett have remained very “tight lipped” about the meetings with FOX executives, with some staff not even being made aware they are traveling to Los Angeles for the meetings.

Spike TV announced recently that season six of UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show has now been moved to Wednesday night. Previously, the show aired in a block of programming on Thursday night along with TNA. So, this may or may not indicate that Spike TV will be giving TNA a second hour later this year in the fall.

TNA’s upcoming schedule features two weeks worth of TV tapings for Spike TV on July 30 in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios, House Show in Des Moines, IA on August 3, House Show in Kansas City on August 4 and a House Show in Wichita, Kansas on August 5.

The latest edition of “TNA Today” is now available featuring Gail Kim. During the show, host Jeremy Borash mentions that there are more women heading to TNA soon, fueling rumors of a possible women’s division.

There has been talk of bringing in former WWE stars Shelly “Ariel” Martinez and Nidia as of late.

Although nothing has been confirmed at this point, the belief right now is that Jeff Jarrett will return sometime in the fall as the company approaches the Bound For Glory PPV in October.
