The Tennessean is reporting that if Adam “Pacman” Jones steps into a TNA ring it would violate his contract with The Tennessee Titans. Coach Jeff Fisher told the newspaper, “that type of thing is not permitted in accordance with the player’s contract.”
Initial reports suggested that TNA would utilize Jones in the ring at least once. It is possible that all of the media attention has changed the Titans organizations though about Jones wrestling with the promotion.
Steven Godrey, head of public relations for TNA said, “We have no comment right now. But a TNA statement is forthcoming in the next couple of days regarding the situation.”
