2 Fired WWE Stars Comment On Releases

Tom sent this in: Just dropping you a note that recently released developmental talents Shantelle Taylor and Tommaso Whitney have posted blogs regarding their releases on their respective myspace pages.

Shantelle: First off, I would like to thank all my fans for the loving support. Without you I would not be able to do what I love and that’s to wrestle. My experience with WWE is something that can never be replaced. It gave me the opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like to live your dream, None of you should be worried about me though! I have lots of goals and aspirations. I’m a fighter!! This is fuel for me, I’m going to use this negative and turn it into a positive. I’m 21 years old and I have my whole life ahead of me. I will defiantly not be sitting around waiting for something to happen. I am doing everything in my power since my release to make many opportunities available. All I ask is for you all to keep an eye on my myspace and my website which will be completely renovated very shortly because I have a lot of great things coming up. You guys are the best and I can not thank you enough for watching and backing me every step of the way. You Rock! Love, Shantelle

Tommaso: Well, I am very new to this whole blog thing. I guess I never really fealt the need to write before. I am a pretty private guy and like to keep my thoughts and feelings to myself. However, sometimes things occur in life which call for a change. Today, one of those things took place. I have officially received my release from WWE. I have no bitter words to utter about the company of my childhood dreams. I hope to one day work there again. I would like to extend a thank you to all at OVW, especially Al Snow, Robert Gibson, and Danny Davis. However, now is not the time to look into the past…for I believe there is a bright future ahead of me. The fact of the matter is I am only 22 years old. I have been wrestling since graduating high school and plan to continue to do so. I am a professional wrestler. This is my passion and the journey is far from over. I consider myself very fortunate to have accomplished what I have thus far. I am anxious to see what tomorrow brings. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR CALLS, TEXTS, AND MESSAGES!!! YOUR SUPPORT IS WHAT KEEPS ME GOING AND ENTERTAINING YOU IS WHAT MAKES THIS ALL WORTH WHILE!! Killer always says, “shoot for the moon..maybe you’ll land on a star”. Well, I shot for the moon…and I dont plan on stopping until I get there!!!
