CW Network’s President Dawn Ostroff recently made comments stating that WWE SmackDown was their number one rated show among Males 18-34. This is the network’s prime demo they are trying to reach; thus they are very happy with the show.
With the recent error in the ratings several people have sent emails asking questions about Tivo & DVR viewing of RAW. Numbers are actually measured within seven days of the program airing. The July 9th edition did 58,000 homes which means 98.2% of the viewers watched the show live. The July 16th edition did 68,000 homes which equals out to 97.9% of the viewers watching live. These numbers prove that the majority of people still watch RAW live and these devices have little effect on the actual ratings.
