As most of you have seen from the feedback posts on the site here today, we’ve had a TON of people send us e-mails about the promo that aired on Raw last night which had the “SaveUs.222” tag line. Early speculation has the clip relating to the return of Chris Jericho to WWE. “7Oct” is text in the clip (the day of the No Mercy PPV in two weeks). If anything, the timing would make sense for Jericho’s return to the company with his book coming out and wanting to push it to a big audience, something he wouldn’t be getting by going to TNA. All the hints in the video are to suggest to fans it is Jericho and it looks to add up. Most wrote it off as a promo for Cyber Sunday.
Mickie James, Super Crazy, Hacksaw Jim Duggan (over Daivari) and Val Venis were all victorious in Dark Matches/Heat Tapings for WWE.com last night before the Raw taping in Milwaukee, WI. James, Crazy and Venis reportedly all faced local talent, although the names are unknown at this time.
If you were surprised to see Hardcore Holly return on Monday Night Raw last night, you weren’t alone. A report around a month ago indicated that Holly was having problems with feeling in his arm from his recent surgery and that there was a good chance his in-ring career was going to end. WWE.com has an interview up with Hardcore Holly, who returned to WWE last night on Monday Night Raw in Milwaukee, WI. The article noted that Holly, whose not one to usually crack a smile, couldn’t himself after a return match on live TV with Cody Rhodes. “Oh my God, it felt really good. Itâ<80><99>s right where I belong. I donâ<80><99>t belong anywhere but in that ring.” The article also features Holly’s comments on his broken right arm that put him out of action for five months. “It got to the point where I had no feeling in half of my hand and no grip at all. I have atrophy in my hand, and there is a big difference in my right and left hands. I kid with my wife and tell her it is my â<80>~Skeletorâ<80><99> hand. But that is because I put the surgery. The doctor told me he had never seen a nerve pinched as bad as that. So, they moved the nerve. A couple of my fingers still donâ<80><99>t have much feeling, but the doctor said that it could take some time for that, maybe up to a year.”
