More On A Major TNA Return (Spoiler), Booker T/Sting

We reported here yesterday afternoon that Scott Hall was backstage at yesterday’s TNA iMPACT! tapings. We can confirm that Hall did appear on camera and in the ring for a segment with Kevin Nash. That show will air Thursday November 8th. Here’s how it all went down: Nash called Hall down to the ring. He did his “Hey yo” and said its been a while. Hall said he has matured and has his life together. He said back in the day, Nash couldn’t take his partying lifestyle anymore and would leave him alone while drunk and forgot about him. There was mention of the Kliq, the infamous backstage alliance from the mid-90s made up of Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Triple H and Sean Waltman. Hall said they don’t want to bore the people talking about their past, but he wants Nash to know that he is not Sting’s mystery partner. Kurt Angle then came down to the ring and demanded to know who the hell Sting’s partner is. Sting comes out and says you we’ll have to wait till Genesis.

Unless plans change, Booker T is scheduled to be Stingâ<80><99>s mystery partner at the TNA Genesis pay-per-view.

It looks like the plan for TNAâ<80><99>s December pay-per-view is to have a three way watch between Judas Mesias vs. Abyss vs. Black Reign.

Quarter ratings for last week’s Impact show were 1.1, 0.87, 0.86, 0.86, 0.91, 0.99, 0.95 and 0.98. The highest rated segment of the show was the open, and the Sting vs. Angle match at the top of the second hour tied for the lowest quarter hour rating on the show. The rating actually increased after the match ended. The show drew 1.3 million viewers, which is about 200,000 less than what they usually do. Overall, the show did a 0.98 rating.
