Booker T and his wife Sharmel made their TNA debuts Sunday night at the Genesis Pay-Per-View. Both have signed TNA contracts and will be appearing on iMPACT! this Thursday night.
Booker is said to be nothing but a pleasure behind the scenes thus far. He was completely fed up with the WWE lifestyle and is embracing his new role in TNA with excitement. He has told many within TNA that he’s very appreciative for this opportunity and wants to do anything he can to contribute to the TNA product.
Sharmel is also fitting in very well backstage with the other TNA Knockouts. The women’s lockerroom in WWE is said to be very “territorial”, with the newer divas not being accepted at first by the more established women stars. In TNA, the top women (Karen Angle, Gail Kim, Miss Brooks) have embraced Awesome Kong, ODB, Angel Williams and now Sharmel.
