On 12/26, WWE will be releasing a three disc DVD titled ‘The Best of Raw 15th Anniversary’. With a total of 540 minutes of action, this DVD set will feature highlights from the more than 700 broadcasts of WWE’s flagship show Monday Night RAW. Action, crazy antics, hilarious skits and revealing interviews will make up the time of this sure-to-be a hit DVD. (thanks to Colin Vassallo)
The new WWE game from THQ ‘Smackdown! vs RAW 2008’ made its debut in the second place in the ‘all game formats’ charts in the United Kingdom, getting beat by ‘Call of Duty 4’. In individual rankings, it was number one on Playstation 2, number two on Playstation 3, third on Xbox 360, third on PSP and fifth on Nintendo Wii. The Nintendo DS version didn’t break the top 30.
While The Rock’s movie ‘The Game Plan’ is still in over two thousand theaters nationwide and a domestic box office of $86,094,613, Rock’s new movie ‘Southland Tales’ opens this weekend across the country after a limited release two days ago. Credited just as Dwayne Johnson rather than The Rock, ‘Southland Tales’ is a movie about Los Angeles in the year 2008 during a three day heat wave just before the 4th of July celebration. An action star stricken with amnesia meets up with an adult film star developing her own reality television project and a Hermosa Beach police officer who holds the key to a vast conspiracy. Joining The Rock in this movie are Seann William Scott, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Justin Timberlake and others. (thanks to Colin Vassallo)
