New RAW CD, Hardy/Lilian News, WWE Holiday Photo Shoot

Tuesday’s “Toys For Tots” drive at the Rockefeller Center in New York City that featured an autograph signing with Jeff Hardy and Lilian reportedly got a good turnout. Also, there were WWE video cameras on hand at the event. Speaking of Lilian, WWE’s official website has added a Holiday-themed photo shoot of her at WWE.com.

One person under consideration for the SmackDown announcing position is Michael Hayes. Hayes has announced on several occasions over the years for different companies, dating back to the mid-80s. However, Hayes is the lead writer for Smackdown, so it may be hard for him to juggle to important duties. That could work against him landing the role. Television producer Kevin Dunn has a very short list of people he felt performed well in recent tryouts. We don’t have their names yet though. A decision on JBL’s replacement is expected to be finalized tomorrow by Vince McMahon.

The WWE Raw music CD was released this past Tuesday. Based on a list for first day sales, the CD was notably absent. Mike Omansky, a music analyst, said they should have launched the project in late October, but that it still may end up successful. He also stated that the CD hasn’t gotten off to a good start in sales.
