Several online reports stated that Senshi asked for his release from TNA following a meeting Dixie Carter held with talent a few weeks ago where she said that anyone who was not satisfied with the company was free to leave. The reports were confirmed when TNA’s official website removed Senshi’s profile from their official website. However, they put Senshi’s profile back up on the website last week. Senshi appeared at the last set of Impact tapings, and they still have episodes to run until the start of January, so that could be why the profile was put back up because if you’re going by TV, he’s technically still with the company.
TNA’s website has posted an article regarding Christy Hemme beating all the past wrestling Playboy cover girls in an online poll for favorite cover. The article even mentions the names of the current WWE Divas she’s beating in the poll. As of this post, Christy still has a whopping lead, but the poll hasn’t officially closed yet. In recent weeks, Playboy.com – the official website of the popular men’s magazine – has featured an online poll asking readers to vote on their favorite female wrestling personality that has graced the cover of Playboy in recent years. TNA’s Christy Hemme is by far the leading vote-getter, winning by nearly 50,000 votes over her closest competitor. Christy is beating Reno Mero, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle and Ashley Massaro by a whopping margin in the voting. Christy appeared on the April 2005 cover of Playboy magazine prior to joining TNA Wrestling in 2006. Gamestop & EB Games still don’t have a firm release date for the upcoming TNA iMPACT! video game. They are telling customers that the game will likely be released sometime between April and July.
