Shining Road is reporting that During the 2008 players ceremony at today’s All Japan Wrestling show in Tokyo, Osamu Nishimura made his “grave” announcement to the Korakuen Hall fans. Nishimura revealed that Dory Funk Jr. would be participating in the February series and would have his final match in Japan on 3/1 at Sumo Hall.

WWE wrestler Sheamus Oâ<80><99>Shaunessy (Two Ton) will make his big screen debut along-side world renowned actors Joseph Fiennes (Lenny Drake) and Brian Cox (Frank Perry) at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival when Rupert Wyattâ<80><99>s â<80>~The Escapistâ<80><99> Premieres on the 21st of January at The Eccles Theatre.

Both The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin appeared in movies ranked high up on The Weekend Warrior’s “Terrible 25 of ’07” list on ComingSoon.net. Steve Austin’s movie The Condemned was ranked the third worst movie of 2007. The Southland Tales, a movie starring The Rock that was released in November was deemed the worst movie of 2007. And even though it did quite well at the box office, The Rock’s other movie, The Game Plan, made the list at No. 22.

The Maryland State Athletic Commission contacted WWE to ensure that none of the wrestlers that have been suspended in the past for violating the company drug policy would be wrestling on last Saturday’s SmackDown/ECW house show in Baltimore. Two past suspendees ended up appearing on the show as John Morrison, Chavo Guerrero wrestled on the card.
