WWE RAW will broadcast live tonight from the Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama. While no matches have been announced as of the time of this writing, we will see the continuation of the Jeff Hardy/Randy Orton feud, Triple H/William Regal feud, as well as JBLâ<80><99>s feud with Chris Jericho. If you are attending tonightâ<80><99>s show and would like to send us off-air notes please feel free to email me.
According to sources from WWE’s production studio, the company’s switch over to high definition programming is a massive undertaking and will mean a lot more work for the staff. We reported here last week that WWE is spending over $20 million in new equipment to become “HD ready”. WWE will likley need to hire some people to help launch the process.
A heads up and reminder to all the Edge fans out there – the World Heavyweight Champion will be appearing on ECW on Sci-Fi this Tuesday night. In an obvious attempt to boost the ratings, Edge will be hosting a “Cutting Edge” talk-show segment. He’s going to announce a special guest for his show this afternoon on WWE.com.
WZR IS BACK TONIGHT: Rob Van Dam and Leticia Cline will be the guests on the return edition of WrestleZone Radio tonight from 7-9 PM EST. I (Ryan Clark) will be on the show on a weekly basis as well to run down all the latest news and rumors. This is going to be a lot of fun each week and the fan response to the show returning has been amazing already. The show used to be the biggest online wrestling radio show back in its heyday and will almost surely take that spot once again with the amount of promotion we will be giving it. I’m thrilled that this show is coming back and proud to be a part of it once again. More information on the show can be found at this link. I know they have Kip James, Christy Hemme, and Marty Janetty all booked for the show in the next two or three weeks so it’s off to a great start. It’s tonight from 7-9 PM EST at http://wrestlezone.com/radio/
