The Big Show will NOT be a part of tonight’s Royal Rumble PPV but will be debuting imminently.
The ORIGINAL Royal Rumble plans had The Undertaker winning tonight. Triple H was the second pick. We’ll see where it goes but the winner usually goes on to win the title at ‘Mania.
There were originally no plans for Hardy to win the title tonight but many have jumped on the bandwagon as the angle is super-over with the crowd right now.
Edge vs. Rey Mysterio for the World title. This is not likely to be a title change. This should be a great match between the two.
Ric Flair vs. MVP. Since the U.S. title is not at stake, Flair should win via pinfall. It could be a cheap finish because they don’t make to make MVP look bad.
The two title matches will probably be 15-20 minutes and the Rumble will be around an hour.
Chris Jericho vs. JBL – expect a disputed finish.
Mike Adamle debuts with WWE as a backstage announcer at tonight’s show
Jimmy Snuka is at MSG, which may not be significant because he comes to a lot of the shows just to say hi.
